Bryan Navarro Hunt
Designer
Bryan is a recent Landscape Architecture graduate from Washington State University. He discovered a passion for Landscape Architecture from his long-lasting interests in art and design, and the natural and built environments. His backgrounds in architecture, environmental science, construction management, and horticulture have also aided in this career choice.
Traveling with his family's pyrotechnics business to nearly every continent, he has experienced spectacular works of architecture, landscape design and nature. In the past he studied the building of sustainable earth bricks, arches, vaults and domes at the Auroville Earth Institute, India under the supervision of Satprem Maini. Using this knowledge, he assisted on a family project building a library in Karatu, Tanzania for a school. He also spent a summer in New York taking an intensive design course solving problems for our future cities with ONE LAB supervised by Mitchell Joachim and Maria Aiolova. More recently, he worked with Disney Research China in Shanghai exploring the natural synergies in urban infrastructure to create better urban design supervised by Ben Schwegler, Chief Scientist of Disney Imagineering.
